Angalamman Traders

It is quite busy over here at 103, Haji Mithai in the Dattatray Darshan building. Being right opposite Vijan Hospital means there is always a lot of movement outside our door. Angalamman Traders has been operating from this spot for a while now. We mostly spend our mornings sorting through what came in and making sure everything looks right before customers start showing up. The shop is not very big, but we manage to keep things organized enough to find what we need quickly. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. People stop by when they are in the area for the hospital or just passing through the neighborhood. We don't really do anything fancy here. It is just about getting the work done and making sure the supplies are ready. My desk is usually covered in papers and receipts because things move fast during the day. We try to keep a decent stock of what people usually ask for. If something isn't on the shelf, we usually know where to grab it from the back room. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place running. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the daily deliveries to arrive. It isn't a high-tech setup or anything like that. We just open the shutters early, handle the daily tasks, and close up once the sun goes down. It feels good to be part of this local patch of town.
