Nikhil Parekh

Living and working in Nasik has a certain pace to it that I really enjoy. My place is over at Ameya Apartment, specifically number 6, in Samarthnagar. It’s pretty easy to find because we are right opposite the Sachi Tvs showroom. If you miss the showroom, you’ve probably gone too far. I’m Nikhil Parekh, and this is where I spend most of my hours. The building isn't the newest on the block, but it’s sturdy and the neighbors are quiet enough. I moved in here because the location felt right for what I wanted to do. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a workspace that’s seen a lot of use over the years. I don’t keep a strict schedule, but I’m usually around when things need to get finished. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the highlight of the afternoon. People in Nasik are generally relaxed, and I try to keep that same energy here. I don't have a team of receptionists or anything like that. When you call or visit, you’re just talking to me. It’s practical. I like having everything within reach. The flat gets a good breeze in the evenings, which helps when the summer heat kicks in. It’s a basic setup, nothing flashy, but it works for the kind of stuff I handle. Just a local spot in a familiar neighborhood. I’ve been here for several years now and don't plan on moving anytime soon. Anyway, it’s home.
