New Dinesh Mens Parlour is situated at Shop No.2 on the Ambad Link Road in the Chunchal area of Nashik. It is a small shop, but it is in a good spot because of all the people moving through the industrial area. We get a lot of workers coming in after their shifts are over at the nearby factories. They usually look pretty tired and are covered in a bit of grease or dust, so they appreciate a good wash and a clean shave. The shop is simple, with tiled floors that I try to keep clean, though it’s hard with people walking in and out all day. I have my tools laid out on a small shelf—nothing fancy, just the basics that get the job done. Ambad can be a busy place, and the link road always has trucks and bikes going past. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in if I leave the door open too wide. I’ve been working in Nashik 422010 for some time now, and I’ve learned that people just want a place where they can sit for twenty minutes and not have to think about work. I don't use a computer or anything to keep track of customers; I just remember who is who. It is just a regular mens parlour where we do our daily business without making a big fuss about it. We open up in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves, then we clean up and do it all again tomorrow.
