I’m located in Room No. 22 of the Classic Appt. building, which is in Shivaji Nagar. If you know Nashik at all, you’ll know the Fame Cinema on the Nashik-Puna Road. We are directly opposite that, so it’s a very busy area with cars and buses going by at all hours. The apartment building is a bit older, and the stairs can be a climb if the lift isn’t working, which happens more often than I’d like. My room is just a small space where I keep my things and handle my daily tasks. It’s not a corporate setup with a lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and I’m usually sitting right there at the table. The noise from the main road is constant, but you learn to talk over it after a few days. Being near the cinema is good because there are always people around, even late in the evening. I’ve been working from this room for a long time now and have everything arranged just how I like it. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with papers everywhere, but I know where the important stuff is hidden. I don't really have a big team helping me out, it's mostly just me taking care of whatever comes my way. Nashik is a good place to be, and this spot on the Puna Road is as central as it gets for me. I usually have my lunch at the small canteen downstairs or just bring something from home.
