Monty Mens Parlour

Dahipool is one of those places in Nashik that is always crowded and moving. We are tucked away on Bhadrakali Road at Nehru Chowk, right behind the police chowki. It is a very old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and there is always someone shouting or a bike honking. Our shop, Monty Mens Parlour, fits right into that chaos. It is a small space, but we have managed to squeeze in everything we need. Because we are near the police station, we get a lot of officers coming in for a quick trim to stay looking sharp. The atmosphere here is very different from the newer parts of town. It feels like real Nashik. The walls are a bit faded and the floor has some cracks, but the scissors are sharp and the water is always cold. We do not have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum loudly. People come in, get their business done, and head back out into the market. It is fast-paced. We have seen the city change a lot from this little corner. Nehru Chowk has so much history and we are glad to have our shop right in the middle of it. You might have to wait a bit if it is a market day, but there is always something to watch out the window while you sit.
