Manas Hair Salon

You can find Manas Hair Salon at Shop Number 8 in the Swami Narayan Nagar area of Panchavati. Being in Panchavati means there are always people around, whether they live here or are just visiting the temples in Nashik. I’ve been in this particular shop for a while now. It’s a compact space, but I’ve arranged it so there’s enough room for everyone. I usually start my day by offering a small prayer and then getting my combs and scissors ready. The neighborhood is mostly families, so I see a lot of fathers bringing their kids in for haircuts before school starts. I like that part of the job. I’ve seen some of these kids grow up over the years. We aren't a high-end place with air conditioning and fancy lights. We just have a few good fans and we focus on the work. I try to keep the shop tidy, but when it’s busy, the hair piles up fast. I just sweep it away when I get a break. People in Swami Narayan Nagar know me as a quiet guy who does his work. I don’t talk too much unless the customer wants to. Sometimes they just want to sit in the chair and close their eyes for twenty minutes. I respect that. It’s a simple business, and I’m glad to be part of the community here in Nashik 422003. It’s just a small shop but it’s mine.
