L P Seeds

Our spot is at Plot No. N35 in MIDC 4. We are on Yevta Road, which is quite close to the Siddharth Soya plant. Being in the MIDC area means we are surrounded by factories and industrial sheds. Our business is all about seeds. We spend our time sorting and bagging them for the farmers who come to us. The warehouse is big and can be a bit cold in the winter mornings. We have bags of different seeds stacked up high against the walls. It has a very specific earthy smell inside. Most of our work depends on the seasons. When it’s time for planting, we are incredibly busy from sunrise to sunset. During the off-season, we spend our time cleaning the place and getting ready for the next cycle. Yevta Road is a bit rough with all the heavy lorries moving through. We don't have any fancy office furniture. We just have a wooden table and some benches for when people stop by to chat. We have been in this location for a while and the neighbors all know us. We don't use any high-tech systems for tracking things. We mostly use paper ledgers and our own memory. It is a simple way of doing things but it has worked for us so far. We just try to provide what the local farmers need for their land. It’s not a complicated business but it takes a lot of time. We just take it day by day.
