Krusheeratnanx Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out in Dhawaleshwar. You can find us at gate number 419/Ba/P. This is where a bunch of us local farmers decided to get together and start something of our own. It’s not a big, polished operation. Most of our meetings happen in the fields or under a tree when we need to take a break from the heat. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy office suite. It’s just us doing the work that needs to be done to keep the farms running and the company moving forward. Dealing with the 423201 area means we are a bit far from the big cities, which has its own sets of pros and cons. We have to be self-reliant out here. If something breaks, we usually have to fix it ourselves. The weather is our biggest boss, and we spend a lot of time watching the clouds. We started this because we wanted to have more control over where our produce goes and how it is handled. It’s been a learning curve for all of us, especially the paperwork part, which isn't as fun as being in the field. But we stick together and get through the tough weeks. It’s a quiet life in Dhawaleshwar most of the time, but we are kept very busy with the day-to-day tasks of running this collective and making sure things work out.
