Kishori Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is inside Vishwa Apartment, which is right at Ashok Stambh in Nashik. It’s a central part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement and noise outside from the traffic. The shop is on the ground floor, making it easy to just step inside from the street. We have a few chairs set up for hair and different sections for other things like threading or facials. It’s not a massive place, but we’ve organized it so everything has its spot. The mirrors are tall and go all the way to the ceiling. We have some shelves filled with various bottles and tubes that we use throughout the day. The floor is tiled in a light color, so we have to sweep it several times a day to keep the hair from piling up. Most of the people who come in are women from the nearby houses or those who work in the offices around Ashok Stambh. It’s a place where people can relax for a bit while we do our work. We don't have any flashy signs or loud music, just the sound of the fans and the occasional chat between customers. It’s been our workplace for a while, and we’ve become a small part of the daily life in this neighborhood.
