Kalptaru Mens Parlour

Our shop is part of the Amiratan Housing Society on Ambad Link Road in the Uttam Nagar area of Nashik. We are very easy to spot because we are right near Atul Dairy. You can often smell the milk and curd from next door when you are standing outside. Being in a housing society means we get a lot of the local residents, especially on Sunday mornings when all the dads bring their kids in for a trim. The shop is kept quite simple. We have the typical black floor tiles that hide the hair a bit and mirrors that go from the waist up. We have been working here for years and we know most of the people who live in the surrounding buildings. The Ambad Link Road is usually busy with traffic, but our little corner stays relatively peaceful. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just some good wall fans that keep the air moving around. We do regular haircuts and shaves, and maybe a head massage if someone has the extra time to sit. The towels are always drying on a rack out back and the smell of shaving cream is pretty much stuck in the walls by now. It is a straightforward place for men to get their hair done without having to go all the way into the main city market. We just do our work and go home.
