Kalakruti Hair Salons

We are located in the Cidco area of Nashik, specifically near Malafram. Kalakruti Hair Salons is the name on the board outside. It is a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to get their hair done. Nashik is growing fast, but this part of Cidco still feels like a community. We have been here near Male Fram for a while. The shop has a few chairs and we keep things pretty basic. It isn't a place where you'll find anything too fancy. We just do the work. I usually start the day by cleaning the mirrors and setting out the capes. My hands are always busy with something. Sometimes it’s a simple haircut, other times someone wants a shave. We get a lot of young guys who want to look like actors, and we try our best with the pictures they show us on their phones. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so I’m always reaching for the broom. We have a small radio that plays local stations to keep things from being too quiet. Some days are really hectic and there’s a line out the door. Other times, it’s just me sitting there waiting. That’s how small businesses work. We don't have any big plans, just staying open and doing what we know. It’s a decent way to make a living and meet the folks living around Nashik.
