Our family has been at House No. 3209 for quite a while. Being on Kamod Road in Bhagwanpura means we’re right in the thick of things. K. L. Thakur & Sons started out small and we’ve kept it that way for the most part. It’s a family-run operation, so there’s always a bit of talk and maybe a little bit of arguing over who did what, but that’s just how it is when you work with relatives. The house is old but sturdy. We’ve seen the road outside change from a quiet lane to a place where there's always something happening. Neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist; you just come to the door. Most days are spent handling local requests and making sure we keep our word to the people who trust us. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of stuff in old ledgers. Bhagwanpura is a tight-knit place, and we like being part of it. We aren't looking to become some giant company. We just want to keep the name K. L. Thakur & Sons respected around here. It’s about doing things the right way, even if it takes a bit longer. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just keeping the business going as best as we can. It's just how our days go.
