Gurukrupa Novelties

Gurukrupa Novelties is located in Shop No.1 over at Rajebahadur Compound. Most people find us because we are so close to Rajebahadur Hospital in Shalimar. It's a small place, really. We sell all those little things you don't realize you need until you're out of them. Trinkets, small gifts, some plastic items, and hair clips. The shelves are a bit cramped and sometimes things fall over if you aren't careful. It’s just how it goes in a shop this size. The compound stays pretty busy with cars and people going to the clinic next door. I usually get here early to sweep the front and rearrange the display in the window. The light doesn't reach the back of the shop very well, so it’s a bit dim in there. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us helping whoever walks in. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s slow. Shalimar is a nice area but the parking is a mess. Customers often complain about where to leave their scooters. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and the neighbors are all friendly. We don't do any big advertising. People just see the sign when they're walking to the hospital. It’s a simple business. We keep the doors open, talk to the regulars, and try to stay organized, even if the stock keeps piling up faster than we can sell it.
