Involute Technology

We’ve been here at Villoli for a while now, right on the Mumbai Agra Highway. If you’re looking for us, we are basically opposite the Jain Mandir, which is a good landmark because the highway gets busy and it's easy to miss the turn. It’s mostly technical work here at Involute Technology. Most days are spent looking at gears or parts and trying to get things lined up right. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing by, but we’re used to it. The shop floor usually has a few projects going on at once. Sometimes things go smoothly and other days we spend way too long trying to figure out a small mechanical issue. It’s just how it is with this kind of work. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing exactly what’s happening with every job. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. There’s a tea stall nearby where we go when things get frustrating. We don’t have a big fancy office with carpets or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the work done and hope the machines behave. People from the nearby villages work here too. It feels like a normal part of the local landscape now, just another workshop along the road doing its bit for the customers who find us.
