India Hair Salon

Started here a while back on Jail Road near the Bhim Nagar area. We usually open up early in the morning, around the time people are heading out for work or taking their kids to school. Nashik Road gets pretty busy during those hours and you can hear the bikes and rickshaws going past the door all day. The shop itself is pretty simple. We have the usual chairs and big mirrors that have been here for a long time. They have some scratches and marks on them, but they work just fine for what we do. Mostly, it is just about cutting hair and giving shaves to the men in the neighborhood. Some guys have been coming here for years and we know exactly how they like their hair done without them saying a word. We keep the floor swept, though hair gets everywhere when it is a busy Saturday. There is a small bench for people to wait on if the chairs are full. Sometimes the fan makes a little noise but it keeps the air moving when the Nashik heat gets heavy in the afternoons. It is just a regular place where you can sit down for twenty minutes and get a decent trim. Nothing fancy about it. We just use the basic tools, combs, and scissors we’ve always had. It is nice being near Bhim Nagar because we see the same faces walking by every single day.
