Hotel Monali Mutton Bhakri is on Devlali Road at Pathardi Phata in Nashik. We are famous around here for the food more than anything else. People come specifically for the mutton bhakri we make in our kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of our business. It’s a busy spot especially in the evenings when everyone gets off work and wants a hot meal. We have a few rooms as well for people who need to stay the night, but the restaurant is what keeps us moving. Pathardi Phata is a well-known junction so we get a lot of people driving by. The smell of the wood fire and the spices is always in the air. We use local recipes that have been around for a long time. The building itself is quite simple and we don’t put much effort into making it look fancy. We focus more on the taste of the food and keeping the tables clean for the next group. My wife handles the kitchen and I look after the guests and the supplies. We have lived in Nashik all our lives and this place is our main work. The 422009 area is growing fast.
