At Hotel Ashish Plaza

At Hotel Ashish Plaza is our place in Sawargaon Pat, which is out in the Akole area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city parts of Ahmednagar, but we like it here. The address is right by the post office, so it’s not too hard to find if you know the area. We have been running this hotel for a while. It’s not one of those fancy places you see in movies with a hundred staff members. It’s mostly just us. We spend the mornings cleaning and getting things ready for whoever might show up. The weather here in Maharashtra can get really dry, and the dust sometimes gets in, so we are always sweeping. Akole is a quiet taluka for the most part. People stop here when they are traveling for work or visiting family in the nearby villages. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the rooms okay and making sure the water is running. Sometimes the phone lines act up, but that is just how it is in Sawargaon Pat. We don't make big promises about being the best. We just provide a place to stay. It’s a simple building with a simple purpose. Most of the folks who come here are locals or people who have been coming for years. We just keep doing what we do every day. There isn't much to say other than we are here and the door is usually open.
