Hotel Grape City, Nashik

Hotel Grape City is found at number 2, Yashwant Apartment on Jail Road in Nashik. We are right near the Kothari Kanya School, so during the mornings and afternoons, you can hear all the kids and the school bells ringing. It is a lively part of the Maharashtra 422101 area. The hotel itself is part of an apartment building, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a big commercial building. We have a small entrance where guests come in to check in for their stay. The rooms are just standard spaces with beds and a bathroom, nothing too over the top. We spend a lot of our time making sure the laundry is done and the rooms are ready for whoever might show up next. Being on Jail Road means there are always plenty of rickshaws and buses going past, so it is easy for people to get around. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a while, and we all just pitch in to get the work done. It isn’t always perfect—sometimes a lightbulb goes out or a tap leaks—but we try to fix things as soon as we notice. We enjoy meeting the different people who stay with us, from parents visiting the school to travelers just passing through the city. It’s a straightforward business and we just take it one day at a time.
