Hotel Curry Leaves

Our place is right on the Nashik Pune Highway, specifically at the Shikhrewadi Wadi Stop. We are directly opposite the Passport Office, so we see a lot of people standing in line over there all day long. It’s a noisy spot with all the buses and trucks grinding their gears on the highway. We’ve got a simple building that we try to keep up with. The rooms are plain and we don't use any fancy language to describe them. They have beds and bathrooms, and that’s about it. We spend a lot of our time just managing the kitchen and the front desk. Since we’re on the road to Pune, we get people who are quite tired from the long drive. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a small area where people can wait. The paint is a bit old in some spots, and the tiles have some cracks, but it’s a working hotel. We're busy with the everyday chores like changing the water filters and making sure the staff shows up on time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We try to keep things honest and just provide a place for people to sleep. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to hear the phone, but we manage. It’s just a normal business on a very busy road.
