Hotel Changla Chungla

We've been here at Pathardi Phata for a while now. Most people know us because we're right in the Murlidhar Nagar area. It’s just a regular place where folks stop by when they are traveling through Nashik. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. The building stays pretty busy because of the location. We handle the rooms and the cleaning ourselves mostly. Some days it gets crowded, especially during the weekends when people are moving between cities. We try to keep things quiet so guests can actually sleep. My brother and I take turns at the front desk. Sometimes the tea is ready early, sometimes it takes a bit longer if we're short-handed. We have a few regular travelers who stay with us every time they pass through this part of town. It’s just a basic setup with beds and bathrooms. We don’t do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just see the sign from the road and pull in. We keep the keys behind the counter and try to remember everyone's face. Life in Nashik is steady, and being at this junction means we see a lot of different people. Some stay for one night, others stay a few. We just make sure the sheets are changed and the fans are working. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance, but we get it done.
