Hotel Chandrai

Hotel Chandrai is Shop No 1 on Ganeshwadi Road in the Panchavati area of Nashik. Our address is 422003, and we are near the Aadgaon Naka. This part of town is very old and has a lot of religious importance, so you see many people walking by in traditional clothes. The building is small and fits right into the line of shops on the street. We share the ground floor with other businesses. The road outside is often crowded with rickshaws and people heading towards the temples or the river. We spend a lot of time cleaning the front area because of the foot traffic. Inside, the rooms are simple with basic beds and a small window in each. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who take turns being at the desk. We use a big physical book to write down who is staying with us. The walls have a few simple calendars on them. In the evenings, you can hear the bells from the nearby temples if the wind is right. We usually get people who are visiting for a few days to see the holy sites. It’s not a fancy place at all, but we keep it tidy and make sure the lights work. There is a small place next door that makes good tea, and that’s where we usually go when things are quiet. It’s just a normal Nashik life here.
