Hari Om Hair Cutting Saloon

People have been coming to our shop here at Karishma Apartment for quite some time now. We are tucked into Shop No 4 on Makhmalabad Road, right in the middle of Panchavati. It is not a very big place, just a simple room where we keep our chairs and tools clean. Most days start early with the sound of the shutters going up. Nashik can get pretty dusty, so there is always some sweeping to do before the first person walks in. We know most of the faces that come through the door because they live just around the corner or work nearby. It is a quiet routine. Sometimes the radio is on, playing some old songs, and other times we just talk about the weather or how the traffic is getting worse on the road outside. We don't have fancy lights or any of that modern stuff you see in malls. It is just a place to get a haircut and maybe a quick shave without making a big deal out of it. We keep our scissors sharp and our mirrors clear. The tea guy from next door comes by twice a day, and those are the little breaks we get. If you are walking past Karishma Apartment, you will see us there. We just try to do honest work and keep the place running. It’s been our life for years, and we like the people around here.
