Gulzar Mens Parlour

I've been working here at Gulzar Mens Parlour for quite some time now. Our shop is tucked away on Doodh Bazar Road, right in the Bhadrakali area of Nashik. If you know the Trimbak Gate area, you know it gets pretty busy with people and traffic all day long. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a few sturdy chairs and some good mirrors that I have to wipe down every hour because of the dust from the road. Most mornings start with me sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready. The neighbors stop by to say hello even if they don't need a haircut. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the weather or how the local market is doing. It’s a simple life here in Nashik. People come in from all over the neighborhood, some regulars who have been coming for years and some new faces just passing through the gate. We don't use any of those big machines, just the usual scissors and clippers. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but it does the job. By the time evening rolls around, the street noise gets louder and the shop feels a bit smaller with more guys waiting. I try to keep things moving so no one is standing around for too long. It’s just how things are done here on Doodh Bazar Road. We stay open until the sun is well down and the street lights take over.
