Go Green Farmers Producer Company is based in Nashik, specifically in the Pimpalanare area. Our main spot is at Survey Number 349. Nashik is known for its farming, and we are right in the middle of it. We are a collective of farmers who wanted to do things a bit differently. Instead of everyone going at it alone and struggling with the market, we pooled our resources together. The name Go Green is pretty much what we try to do—focus on sustainable ways to grow our crops. The soil around Pimpalanare is good, but you have to treat it right if you want it to last for the next generation. We spend a lot of time in the fields, which is where the real work happens. It’s not always pretty; there’s mud, there’s heat, and sometimes things don’t grow the way you expected them to. But that’s farming for you, and we wouldn't change it. We don't have a fancy storefront or a big office building in the city. We have our land and our shared equipment at the survey site. Most of our decisions are made while standing in a field or sitting on the back of a truck during a break. We’re just local folks from Nashik trying to make a living while taking care of the earth. We focus on being practical and staying true to what we know about the land and the weather patterns here in our part of Maharashtra.
