Fariyad Hair Cutting Salon is located at Shop No 3 on Pathardi Road in Nashik. We are right by the Pathardi Phata and very close to the Pathardi Gaon Bus Stop. Because of the bus stop, we get a lot of people stopping in while they are waiting for their ride. It's a small shop, just a single room with the basic setup. We’ve been here for several years and have become a bit of a fixture in the local area. The walls are lined with mirrors that have seen better days, but they work fine for what we need. We offer haircuts and shaves at a fair price. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the village or the surrounding neighborhood. We know most of them by name and know exactly how they like their hair done. It's a simple life here in Nashik. We open early in the morning and stay open until the last bus has mostly gone. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's quiet and just watch the traffic. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, just a couple of fans that buzz while they spin. We use traditional razors and sharpen them ourselves. It’s a skill I learned from my uncle when I was young. We don't have a phone for bookings, so people just walk in.
