Diraj Mens Parlour

This shop is over in the Panchavati area of Nashik, specifically at Dhatrak Phata. If you can’t find it, just look for the big water tank nearby, everyone knows where that is. We have been here for a bit now, mostly doing haircuts and shaves for the men around here. It’s a straightforward place with three chairs and a big mirror that covers most of one wall. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so there’s a lot of sweeping going on throughout the day. We usually have the radio playing some old songs or the news. During the monsoon, the street outside gets a bit muddy, but inside it stays dry enough. Most of the regulars come in on Sunday mornings, so that is our busiest time by far. You might have to wait on the bench outside if the chairs are full. It's just a local mens parlour, nothing too complicated. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or anything, just a water jar in the corner. Sometimes the kids from the school nearby come in for a trim and they always want the latest style they saw on TV. We try to keep up with that. It’s a good spot because of the location near the tank and the main road. Just a place for a decent shave without any fuss. The neighbors are nice too and they often stop by.
