Dipak Mens Parlours

Dipak Mens Parlours is located on Pawan Nagar Road in Nashik. We are right across from the Ahilyabai Holkar Statue, which is a big landmark in this part of town. If you know the Pawan Nagar area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. I’ve been cutting hair here for quite a while, and most of my customers are guys from the neighborhood who just want a quick trim or a shave before heading home. The shop has a couple of old-fashioned barber chairs and a big mirror that’s seen better days. I usually have the radio playing some local news or music to keep things from being too quiet. It’s a small space, so it gets warm when there are four or five people waiting. I don’t have a fancy waiting area, just a few plastic stools tucked against the wall. People talk about cricket or the local politics while they wait their turn. I think having the shop near the statue helps people find us easily, especially since the road gets so busy in the evenings. I open up early in the morning because some men like to get a shave before they catch the bus for work. It’s a simple routine, and I don’t plan on changing much. We just do the work, sweep up the hair, and start again the next day. It’s a decent living and the people around here are mostly friendly and easy to talk to.
