Deepak Salon

Deepak Salon is right in the middle of Chauk Mandai in Old Nasik. We are at 3098, near the Jahangir Masjid in the Dwarka area. This is a very old part of the city, and the streets are always full of people and vegetable sellers. Our shop is just a small room in this busy market. It has been around for quite some time, and the furniture is simple and functional. There is always a lot of noise outside from the market, but inside, we just focus on the hair cutting. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us for decades. They sit in the same chairs and talk about the same local news. The mirrors are a bit old, and the walls have a few marks, but it is a comfortable place for the men around here. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are near the masjid. The light comes in through the front door, and we keep a clock on the wall that is always a few minutes fast. It is a practical business. We do haircuts, shaves, and simple grooming. When the market is busy, we are busy. When it rains, people huddle near the doorway. It is just a regular life in Old Nasik, and we are glad to be a part of this community. No one expects anything flashy from us, and we like it that way.
