C R D Mens Parlour

C R D Mens Parlour is over on Meri Link Road in the Panchavati area of Nashik. We are quite close to the Ganpati Mandir, so you can often hear the bells ringing or the music from the temple during the festivals. It is a nice part of the city to be in. The shop itself is just a small room with a couple of mirrors and some old chairs. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and stay in this neighborhood. Most of the men who come in are regulars who live just a few streets away. We talk about the local sports or what is happening at the mandir while I am working. The Meri Link Road gets a fair amount of traffic, so there is always something to look at through the front window. I keep the scissors and combs in a little plastic tray on the counter. It isn't a high-end salon with air conditioning, just a regular shop with a big fan to keep the air moving. I find that people around 422003 like things to be simple and honest. I don't try to sell anyone anything they don't need. If someone wants a simple cut, that is what they get. My hands are usually busy from morning until late at night, but I don't mind the work. It is just a part of the daily life here in Panchavati, doing what I know how to do. I’ve been in this spot for years and it feels like home now.
