Azad Hind Salon

Azad Hind Salon is on Bhadrakali Road, right in the heart of Bhadrakali, Nashik. We are quite close to the Mughal Darbar Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is a traditional men’s salon. It’s been in this area for a long time, and the neighborhood has changed so much around us. The chairs are the old heavy kind that lean back for a shave. We have big mirrors that show every corner of the street outside when the door is open. The sound of the traffic and the smell of the food from the nearby hotel are just part of the day. Men come in for a quick haircut or a shave before going to work. We don't have any of those fancy spa treatments. It’s just scissors, combs, and straight razors. I keep the blades sharp and the towels hot. There’s a small TV in the corner that’s usually on a news channel or a cricket match. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. I know how they like their hair cut without them even asking. It’s a simple life, cutting hair and talking to the people of Nashik. The shop is small and the floor is always covered in hair by mid-afternoon, but we sweep it up. It’s an honest place for a man to get a haircut and relax.
