Ash India. Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is located in the Eklahre Colony, right at Old D-72 on the Nashik Road. We are pretty close to the NTPS power station, which is why we handle so much ash here at Ash India Pvt. Ltd. The area can be quite gray sometimes because of the nature of the work, and you can always see the big chimneys in the distance. We spend most of the morning sorting through things and dealing with the transport trucks that roll in and out. The building itself is old and has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for what we do. It is not a glamorous job, standing around in the wind with the dust, but it is what we know. The staff mostly lives nearby in the colony, so we all walk to work and see each other at the local shops later. We do not have a big reception area or fancy furniture, just some desks and a lot of registers to track the loads. Sometimes the Nashik Road gets backed up with traffic, and that makes our deliveries run late, which is always a bit of a headache. We try to keep the yard organized, but with so much material moving around, it is a constant battle. It is a quiet life in the colony for the most part, except for the sound of the trucks. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the sun goes down and the lights come on.
