Araw Gents Parlour

Araw Gents Parlour is situated on Makhmalabad Road in Nashik. We are right opposite the bus stop, which is very convenient because people can just hop off the bus and walk straight in. The road outside can get quite dusty and loud with all the buses and cars going toward Makhmalabad. Our shop is a basic gents parlour with the usual setup. We have the big chairs and the long mirrors that every barber shop has. There is a small bench for people to wait on if we are busy. We don't have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that keep the air moving. It is a very practical place. We see a lot of people who are commuting or living right here in the area. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character. We spend our days cutting hair and chatting with the regulars about whatever is happening in Nashik. The bus stop is like a timer for us; we know what time it is by which bus is pulling up outside. It is an honest way to make a living, and we have been at this spot for a while. We keep the towels clean and the scissors ready for anyone who needs a trim. We stay here from morning until late when the sun goes down.
