Anand Mens Salon

You can find Anand Mens Salon over at Canada Corner, inside the Castle Rock Apartment building. This part of Nashik, Ganga Nagar, is quite lively. The shop is on the ground floor, so it's easy for people to just pop in when they are out doing their errands. It’s a bit more modern than some of the older shops in the peth areas, but I still keep things very down to earth. I have a few good chairs and some big mirrors that make the room look a bit larger than it actually is. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we get a lot of foot traffic. I’ve been working in the hair business for a long time, and I opened this spot because I liked the energy of Canada Corner. We get a mix of young students and older gentlemen who have lived in these apartments for years. I don't have a big staff, just me and occasionally a cousin who helps out when things get too busy on the weekends. We don't do anything too complicated, just good, clean haircuts and shaves. The radio is usually on, playing some soft music to keep the mood relaxed while people wait. It’s a nice little business. I enjoy the work and the chance to meet so many different people every day. We just try to do a decent job for everyone who walks through the door.
