Aaishwarya Sadies & Beauty Parlour

Aaishwarya Sadies & Beauty Parlour is located in a very special spot. We are up in Saptashrungi Gad, near Nanduri Vani. This is in the Kalwan Taluka of Nashik district. It’s quite a climb to get here, but the view is something else. We do two things here—selling sadies and running the beauty parlour side of things. It keeps us very occupied. Many women come here when they are visiting the temple or for local festivals. They want to look their best, so they stop by for a quick draping or some basic makeup. We have a good collection of sadies that we keep in the back of the shop. The parlour area is just a few chairs and a mirror, nothing too complicated. Being in Vani means we see a lot of travelers as well as locals. The air is different up here, a bit cooler than the main city. Sometimes the power goes out, especially during the rains, but we just use candles or wait it out until it comes back. It’s a family-run business. My sister helps with the sadies and I handle the beauty treatments. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s an honest way to make a living and we enjoy being part of the life here near the Gad. It’s a busy life but it’s ours, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
