Mpc Farmer Producer Company Limited

We set up Mpc Farmer Producer Company Limited here in Dharmabad. It’s based out of Piraji Laxman Chavan's house on Mane Rode in Ram Nagar. A few of us local farmers decided to get together because doing things alone was getting harder each year. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting at the 3-919 address to figure out seed orders and how to get better prices for what we grow. It’s nothing fancy, just a room where we keep our papers and talk things through. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us much, so having this group keeps us going. We mostly deal with the crops common around this part of Ram Nagar. It is a lot of work coordinating everyone, and we aren't experts at the office stuff, but we manage. You’ll usually find someone around the Mane Rode area if you need to ask about the current harvest or joining the group. We just want to make sure the families here can keep farming without losing too much to the middle agents. It's been a learning process for all of us since we started. Sometimes we get the paperwork wrong, but the actual farming part we know well. We just keep at it day by day. The office is usually busy during the sowing season when everyone needs supplies at once. We sit on the porch and discuss the rain or the lack of it. It feels right to work together like this. We've known each other for years, so it's just like working with family.
