Kalash Seeds Foundation

We've been over on Mantha Road at Survey Number 536 for a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially when the season is about to change and everyone is thinking about what to put in the ground next. Kalash Seeds Foundation isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working through the piles of seeds and making sure everything is sorted out right. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that’s just how it is here. Most days start early because there is always something that needs to be moved or bagged. We spend a lot of time just looking at the quality of what we have. It’s not always easy work, and the weather doesn't always help, but we stay busy. People stop by the office to ask questions or just to see what’s available for the upcoming months. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big shipment. The foundation is really just a group of us who know the area and know what the local land needs. We don't spend much on office decorations since we'd rather focus on the actual work. It’s a plain building, but it serves the purpose. We see a lot of familiar faces from around Mantha Road. We’ve grown used to the pace here. It’s just a regular local operation doing what we can with the seeds we have.
