Living Stones

Our place is called Living Stones and we are situated at No. 326/1-c in Pudupatti. It’s about 12 kilometers out on the Trichy Road. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Valayapatti Power Office. That’s usually the easiest way for people to find the turn-off. We have a decent amount of space where we keep all sorts of stone pieces. Some are big slabs and some are smaller bits. The yard doesn't have much of a fence, so you can see everything from the road. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the piles. It’s dusty work and the Trichy Road traffic keeps things noisy. We don't have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We have a small desk inside a tiny building for the paperwork, but we are rarely in there. Usually, we are out front talking to someone or helping load a vehicle. We don't have a glossy catalog or anything like that. People just see what we have and decide if it works for their project. The weather can be tough sometimes, especially when it rains and the yard gets soft, but we just wait it out. It’s a regular, honest business. We don't make things more complicated than they need to be. We just show up every day and deal with the stones.
