Grandeur Granites

Out here in Keerambur Village, things move a little slower than in the big city. Grandeur Granites is located at 291/3, and it’s basically just a large plot of land where we store the granite blocks and slabs. You have to drive a bit to find us, but once you’re here, there’s plenty of space to look around. We started this because we had the land and knew a bit about the stone trade. It’s mostly outdoor work, so we’re always at the mercy of the weather. When it rains, the granite looks completely different, which is something we always tell people to watch for. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local guys from the village who know how to operate the crane and move the heavy pieces without breaking anything. Sometimes we spend the whole day just reorganizing the stacks so the new arrivals can fit into the rows. It’s a lot of physical labor. Most of our customers are contractors who know exactly what they want and don’t need much help. We just point them to the right pile. Life in the village is quiet, and we like it that way. We don’t have fancy brochures or a front desk. Just a small room with a fan where we keep the receipts. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting in the shade of the big tree near the gate during our lunch.
