Running a transport business out of Kappalakunta Thanda in Revoor means you spend a lot of your life looking through a windshield. We have been doing this for a while now, mostly moving goods for people around the village and the nearby areas. The trucks are not new, they have their fair share of dents and the paint is fading in the sun, but they get the job done. Every morning we check the oil and the tires before heading out on the roads. We carry all sorts of things, from bags of grain to old furniture when someone is moving house. It is a lot of heavy lifting and our backs feel it by the end of the week. There is no big dispatch office here, just a phone that rings at all hours and a notebook where we scribble down the names and addresses for the next day. We know these roads like the back of our hands and usually recognize every other vehicle we pass. It is honest work that keeps us moving from dawn until late in the evening. We mostly just focus on getting the load where it needs to go without too much trouble along the way.
