Venkateshwara Bricks Company

You can find us at Shutter No 1, right near the Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in Nereducherla. We are located along Janapahad Road, which is part of the Miryalaguda-Kodad Road. Venkateshwara Bricks Company is just a local outfit. We’ve been set up here for a while, and the temple is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. The work we do is pretty basic and repetitive. We make bricks and we sell them. It involves a lot of heat, a lot of dirt, and long hours under the sun. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. Our "office" is basically just the small space behind the shutter. We talk to the local builders and farmers who need materials for their walls. It’s a busy road, so there’s always noise from the traffic going towards Miryalaguda. We try to keep the stacks as neat as possible, but it’s a brickyard, so there’s always a bit of a mess with the fragments. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around the area. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day. The guys working here are all from the nearby villages. We know the land and we know how to handle the local clay. It’s just honest work. If you need some bricks, you just stop by the shutter and we’ll show you what we have.
