At Fortunelite Fly Ash And Cellular Blocks, we spend our days making blocks for building houses and walls. You can find us at Sy No 461/A/2 in Gangasani Pally, which is part of Raigiri. The work involves a lot of fly ash, so things tend to get a bit grey around the yard by the end of the day. We have big molds that we use to shape the blocks, and they have to sit out to dry for a while before they are ready. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving the finished blocks and stacking them up in the yard. We don’t have a fancy office building, just a small cabin where we keep the paperwork and the keys. Most of our time is spent outdoors or under the large sheds. If you come by, you’ll see piles of materials and blocks ready to be shipped out. Raigiri is a growing area, so we see a lot of trucks passing through every day. We’ve been at Sy No 461/A/2 for a good while. The sun can be quite harsh out here in the open, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don't do much in the way of marketing; the blocks just sit there until someone needs them for a project. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit dusty. We just focus on making sure the blocks are solid and ready to go. It’s just us and the machines.
