Kaika Vadthya

Our home and work are at H. No. 1-102 in Banal Kunta Thanda. This is part of Pedda Gummadam and we fall under the Utlapally village area in Pedda Adiserlapally. It is quite a long address but that is just how things are mapped out here in Telangana. I am Kaika Vadthya and I have stayed in this area for a long time. The work we do is very local and mostly involves things around the village and the nearby fields. We don't have a website or any of those things people use in the cities. Usually if someone needs help they just come to the door at house 1-102. The days start early before the heat gets too bad. We spend time dealing with local matters and making sure our own stuff is looked after. Banal Kunta Thanda is a small place so news travels fast by word of mouth. We don’t really think about things like growth or expansion. We just want to make sure the work we do today is enough to get us through to tomorrow. Sometimes we travel to Pedda Adiserlapally for supplies but mostly we stay right here in the Thanda. Life is simple and we like it that way. There is always some dust on the porch and a dog sleeping nearby. We just keep moving along at our own pace and don't worry too much about the rest of the world.
