Out here in Koppole village, things move at a much slower pace than in the big cities. Our office is at H. No. 4-15, and since we are in the Kethepally Mandal area, everyone around here pretty much knows everyone else. We handle a lot of travel bookings for people who need to get to the city or maybe further away for work. It’s not a big fancy travel agency with neon signs, just a room with a desk and some old posters of places far away. The dust from the road tends to blow in if we leave the door open too long, so we are always wiping down the computer screen. People stop by on their way home from the fields or after finishing their errands in the village. We talk a lot about bus routes and which drivers are the most reliable these days. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just have to sit and wait for it to come back so we can finish the bookings. It’s a simple life, and the work is steady because people always need to travel for weddings or family stuff. We try to help the older folks who don't understand how the online systems work. It’s just us here in the village, making sure the local community has a way to get where they need to go.
