Bhaloji Catering

Bhaloji Catering is run from house number 40 in Kadapagandi Thanda. We are based in the Jangam area. It’s a family business, and we’ve been doing this for many years. We don’t have a big commercial kitchen in the city. Instead, we work from our setup here. When an order comes in for a wedding or a local function, the whole place gets busy. We start very early in the morning to get the fires going and the vegetables chopped. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy pots and staying on our feet for hours. The kitchen gets very hot, especially during the summer, but we don't mind it much. We mostly cook traditional food that people in the area like. We don't have a printed menu or a website. Usually, people just come by the house and we talk about what they need for their event. We try to make sure there is enough food for everyone and that it tastes right. Jangam is a nice place and we have a lot of regular customers who always call us for their parties. We handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the transport ourselves. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what we do for our livelihood. We like being part of people's celebrations. It makes the hard work feel worth it at the end of the day when the plates are empty and everyone is full.
