We are set up at 232 Shivangi Nagar, right behind the Chakrapani Kala Mahavidyalaya on Hudkeshwar Road. Since there is a college nearby, there are always students walking around, which makes the area feel pretty lively. Nagpur is famous for being hot, and out here on Hudkeshwar Road, it really feels like it. The office is just a practical space with a few chairs and a lot of logbooks. I usually spend my morning sweeping out the dust that blows in from the yard. It is a constant battle, but you just accept it when you work in this trade. We have a small yard where the trucks pull in to unload the Ultratech stock. Sometimes the drivers stay for a bit to have some water and rest before heading back out. We keep things pretty simple here without any big corporate rules or fancy uniforms. It is just about getting the cement to the people who are building their houses in the area. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a sturdy place that holds the weight of the bags. We have a small fan that works most of the time, and that is enough for us. It is honest work and we have been at this location for a while, so most of the local contractors know exactly where to find us. Even when the power goes out, we keep the gate open.
