We are based at 5 Saket Nagar, which is right near Parwati Nagar in Nagpur-27. The office is run by Mahesh Pawar and the rest of the crew here. It is a local spot where we manage all the cement orders coming through this side of the city. Nagpur can get incredibly hot, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning before the sun really starts beating down on the yard. The office itself is pretty simple, just a place to keep the books and take phone calls from builders. We aren't big on formalities. If someone comes in, they usually just pull up a chair and we talk about what they need for their site. There’s always a lot of activity with people coming and going. We’ve been in Saket Nagar for a good while, so we know the local landscape and the challenges of delivering in the tighter streets around Parwati Nagar. It is a lot of back-and-forth with the warehouse and the transport guys. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we eventually get through it all. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that, it’s just us handling the day-to-day work of getting cement out to the people who are building the city. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like the work.
