Thik Classes

Thik Classes is situated over in Society Chandan Nagar, near the Dighori Naka part of Nagpur. It’s a fairly quiet corner compared to the main roads, which helps when we are trying to teach. The name is simple, and so is the way we run things here. We have a few rooms set up with basic furniture for the students to use. It’s the kind of place where you just come in, take your seat, and start reading. We don’t use any complicated systems or fancy software. It is just books, pens, and a lot of talking through the lessons. The building is older, but it serves the purpose well enough. Many of the families in 440024 know where we are because we’ve been here in Chandan Nagar for quite some time. We usually open up in the morning to get things ready before the students arrive later on. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we spend a bit of time cleaning the desks every day. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People just talk to each other and that’s how they hear about us. We keep our heads down and focus on the daily lessons. It’s a small, local setup and we don't have plans to change that anytime soon. We just keep the lights on and the books open for whoever needs them.
