Our place is located on Bhim Chowk Road in Jaripatka, which is a very active part of Nagpur. Sunayna Tutorials is not a big institution with hundreds of employees. It’s more like a small family-run thing where we know almost every student’s name and where they live. The office is small and usually piled high with notebooks and corrected papers. I try to keep it organized, but when you have forty kids coming in and out every afternoon, things get messy fast. We have some fans that make a bit of a rattling noise, but they keep the air moving during those hot Nagpur afternoons. Most of our students come from the nearby houses, so they just walk over. We don’t have a parking lot or anything, just some space on the side of the road for cycles. The atmosphere is very casual. We don't wear uniforms and we don't have strict rules about sitting perfectly still. As long as the work gets done, we are fine with it. Sometimes we have tea together when the classes are over and talk about how the day went. It feels more like a community center than a school sometimes. We just focus on the textbooks and try to help the students understand what their teachers are saying in class. It’s been our way of doing things for years and we don't plan on changing it. We just show up and do the work.
