Suresh Kumar & Bros.

Our shop is right near the Police Chowki in Sadar, so it’s pretty easy to find if you know the area. Suresh Kumar & Bros. has been a family thing for a long time, passed down and kept going through the years. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the stock we keep, but we know where everything is. Sadar is always crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is opening up their shutters. We spend most of our time talking to people who come in looking for specific items. Some days are slow, and we just sit and drink tea, watching the traffic go by the police post. Other days, it’s a constant stream of people asking questions. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that, just this spot in Sadar. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the shelves are a bit crooked, but it works for what we do. My brothers and I take turns being here, so there is always someone around to help out. We don’t make a big fuss about things. We just provide what’s needed and try to stay organized, even when the paperwork starts piling up on the old wooden desk. It’s a simple life running a business like this, but it keeps us busy and connected to the local community here in this part of town.
