SKumar Hotelier Assistance (OPC) Private Limited is mostly a one-person show, or at least it started that way. I work out of Flat Number 202 in Wing D of Jayanti Nagari 2. That’s on the Besa Beltarodi Road near Manish Nagar. It’s a busy area these days with all the new construction and people moving in. My job is basically helping out other hoteliers with the stuff they don’t have time for. Since it's an OPC, it's a very personal business. I handle the phone calls, the emails, and the site visits myself. It’s a lot of work but I enjoy being my own boss. The office is just a part of where I live, so the commute is pretty short, which is nice. Manish Nagar is a good spot because it’s growing fast. There are always new hotels popping up or older ones needing a bit of help with their operations. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just help people run their hotels better. It could be anything from staffing to just sorting out the daily books. I’ve been in the hotel line for a while, so I’ve seen most of the problems that come up. I just try to be practical and solve things as they happen. It is just me here, making things work for my clients.
